Gil and Gary of hip-hop duo Leessang have become the subjects of much nostalgia, thanks to netizens who uncovered their profiles from 14 years ago. On August 22nd, an online community forum created a post about the duo called, 'Gary and Gil, 14 years ago', which contained pictures of Gil and Gary from their Honey Family days. Honey Family is an old school (and now defunct) rap group comprised of 7 members who enjoyed great popularity in their heyday. Going back to the post, Gary is seen as the gentleman on the right wearing a fisherman's hat. In his profile, Gary wrote that his hobbies were, 'Reading poems, analyzing people', and that his specialty was, 'Sports (physical sports)'. Gary cracked up netizens when he wrote that his most attractive part on his body was his 'butt', and described his personality as being similar to a 'sleeping lion'. Meanwhile, Gil exuded the image of a 'powerful hip-hop artist' with his buzz cut that carried a unique arrow design. His profile revealed that his goal was to 'Be recognized as one of the artists who made Hip-hop grow in Korea', showing his sincerity and passion for music. Netizens commented, "Their eyes seem like they are looking at everything", "I almost couldn't recognize them. They were both very sharp", "Gary's looks are consistent, now and then", and "I will look at your butt very carefully now". Meanwhile, Leessang made their comeback with their 7th album, 'Asura BalBalta', and are now promoting their title song, "Turned off the TV...".
