Rumors have recently surfaced online that Hollywood actor Christian Bale may take the leading role in a Spike Lee remake of the popular film, 'Old Boy'. Spike Lee allegedly offered Bale the role of 'Oh Daesu', played originally by actor Choi Min Sik in 2003. It's being said that Bale is currently deciding between this role and another in an upcoming Clint Eastwood film. The actor's most famous works include 'The Dark Knight,' 'Public Enemy,' 'Terminator: Salvation,' 'American Psycho,' 'The Fighter,' and 'The Machinist'. 'Old Boy' is a tale of vengeance about a man who was kidnapped and imprisoned in a room for 15 years without knowing the reason why. When he gets released, he finds himself ensnared in a complicated web of conspiracy and violence, as he tries to uncover the mystery behind his imprisonment. The film garnered international praise, and even won the 'Grand Prix' award at the 2004 Cannes Film Festival. Source & Photo: Star News
