On March 9th, SECRET's Sunhwa and Song Ji Eun battled against SISTAR's Hyorin and Bora on MBC's "Radio Star" to see who possessed superior knowledge of Chinese idioms. Seeing as how this battle is notorious for stumping even the smartest idols on other variety programs, the members refused to play at first, but eventually gave in to the pressures of the MCs. Hyorin amused the studio by starting off with easy ones that almost everyone knew like "????" (Killing two birds with one stone). Bora asked her, "What about ?????" (Great oaks from little acorns grow. Great talents mature later). The idiom is something that's public knowledge, so Hyorin threw the studio into a fit of laughter by retorting, "Shouldn't you ask something easier that the public will know?" When it came time for Sunhwa's turn, she explained, "I was going to do '????' because it was something my Chinese character teacher told me when I kept failing auditions. She said I would be a late bloomer." When asked to name another idiom, she replied, "Shin-to-bu-ri," and proved herself to be 'blank sheet Sunhwa' once more, since she mistook 'shin-to-bu-ri' to be a Chinese idiom when in fact, it's Korean.
