Actress Jeon Ji Hyun has shocked fans with her plain transformation for her new movie, "Snow Flower and the Secret Fan". Still cuts from�"Snow Flower and the Secret Fan"�have been revealed online, and the actress showed off a look that's reminiscent of a simple country girl. Her 5:5 hair part and bare makeup contrasts greatly with her normative glamorous, sexy style. Working under her Hollywood name, Gianna Jun, Jeon Ji Hyun is already pulling strong interest in the film, for her clean look seems to bely a strong, emotional performance. She'll be working alongside Chinese star Li Bing Bing, who is seen beside Jeon Ji Hyun in the picture. The film is directed by Wayne Wang ("Joy Luck Club") and produced by Wendi Murdoch and Florence Sloan. This movie�is based on the novel by Chinese-American author Lisa See. The story revolves around women using fans to share poems and writings with each other as a method to develop strong, ever-lasting friendships. The film will examine�the strength of friendship between women, set in present day Shanghai and turn of the century China. The Korean movie release date is still up in the air, but the date for the States has been established. "Snow Flower and the Secret Fan" will hit box offices in the States on July 15th.
