5dolls' leader Soomi revealed her hopes of winning a rookie award at the year-end ceremonies this year through an interview with Kuki News. She expressed, "I debuted three times already, and have yet to receive a rookie award. I was always jealous of other singers who received them." Soomi debuted on November of 2009 with SeeYa, but because she was a new addition to an already established group, there was no chance for her to win a rookie award. She later switched out to debut with Co-Ed as their leader, and debuted again soon after with the group's sub-unit, 5dolls. She continued, "First, I was added to a group of seniors, and then with a group who did not receive a rookie award. I hope to do really well this time and win a rookie award, as well as the opportunity to show our talents at year-end ceremonies. I don't think about making mistakes on stage lately. I'm just determined to do my best and work as hard as I can." When asked about the disbandment of her former group, SeeYa, she replied, "I was upset in not being able to be with them for their last, but if our unit promotions go well, I hope to start another unit with Boram and Yeonji unni, just like with our 'Wonder Women' promotions."
