IU admitted to having an unusual obsession during her appearance on the December 6th episode of KBS 2TV's "Hello." While on the show, she confessed that she could not put down her cell phone. "When I'm browsing the internet or texting on the phone, I don't really look around me. I have a tendency to not hear what's being said around me when I'm concentrating on something, so I often argue with my manager." IU continued, "The reason I like touching my cell phone is because of the buttons. I even like pressing the bell button on the bus. When I was younger, I often played 'ding dong ditch' for door bells." Hilariously, we can see her being that kid who hit every single button on the elevator before gleefully skipping out.
