IU has been receiving much love with her comeback, further proved by her status on the charts with her recent Mutizen win. Many have been dubbing her as the "three-high note singer", as she flawlessly sang all of her live performances, impressing fans.
However, on a Korean portal site, a netizen left a comment on one of IU's articles stating, "December can sing five high notes, but why aren't they popular?" The comment received well over 200 replies and received much attention in a short amount of time.
The replies consisted of comments such as, "December has a variety-show depression, and since they don't make appearances on such shows, their popularity is low.", "Because they're not idols.", and "Their visuals aren't outstanding..."
