MC Mong will appear in court, according to a report by YTN on October 5th. A citizen committee of the Seoul Central Prosecutor's Office has decided to charge MC Mong after a four-day-long discussion. Prosecutors decided to use a citizen committe in order to determine whether MC Mong should be indicted for his military evasion accusations. The nine member committee included a university professor, a taxi driver, an accountant, and a farm plantation owner, amongst many others. After listening to explanations by the prosecutors, the committee discussed the issue and came to a final decision stating that it was appropriate to prosecute MC Mong. The Seoul Central Prosecutor's Office booked MC Mong without detention for extracting at least four of his teeth over the course of four years in order to receive an illegal exemption from his military service.
