Following the news of an average of 16s of singing time for idol group members, it looks like this bit of news hurt one of the members from 7-member female idol group T-ara. Jiyeon held an interview with the Korean Herald where she was said to have a sad look on her face and she shared her thoughts about being criticized for having only 5 seconds of singing time. She stated, "I have always been practicing hard to become a singer for about 2 years now. Even though T-ara works closely as a team, some of us naturally get less singing time." Although hurt, Jiyeon also understands why she in particular gets less singing time. Due to her past active participation in God of Study and currently partaking in Death Bell 2: Bloody Camp activities, she holds a very busy schedule. That means she will have to miss a couple of events and live performances with the group. With that in mind, with less singing time it's much easier for a fellow member to to cover up her part. Jiyeon also talked about her role in upcoming horror film Death Bell 2 stating that the movie doesn't only consist of scary scenes, "Death Bell 2 isn't just scary, it also has a touching story with close friendships that become torn apart."
