Remember when ballad prince Sung Shi Kyung went to serve his country 2 years ago back in July of 2008? Well, the talented singer is back as he was recently released from the army on the morning of May 17th. With a bright face, Sung Shi Kyung addressed to fans and news reporters at the scene, "I thank all my fans who have waited for me all this time." When asked about life in the army, the singer replied, "To us soldiers, girl groups are like a belief/religion," causing much laughter. He continued, "SNSD is definitely the number one girl group in the military. I saw the girls once at an event and told them that they have to take care of their bodies and stay healthy because their bodies are not 'their bodies.' I'm not saying this because I have other thoughts, but to the soldiers SNSD really is like a belief/religion." When Sung Shi Kyung said this in a matter-of-fact way, he caused even more laughter among the gathered crowd of media people and fans. Aside from girl group talk, the singer also talked about more serious topics like, "Going to the army made me realize how many people work so hard for our country." This suave voiced singer plans to get some rest and work on recording some songs for his new album that he hopes to release by the fall of this year. Regarding the album, he commented, "I plan to experiment and work on my new album while taking a break. I really want to say thank you to my fans." Congrats to the Sung Shi Kyung for being discharged! I can't wait until he comes out with a new album because I love this guy's voice way too much. His voice just sounds so refreshing and clean cut.
