SNSD was in Taiwan? One would have thought they were seeing double or needed glasses after videos of six girls in SNSD stage outfits dancing to Oh! surfaced over the internet recently. But this was just a segment for Chung T'ien Television (CTi TV) popular variety show called Big Party in Taiwan. The program is famous for parodying celebrities and especially political figures in Taiwan, entertaining viewers daily. The six girls (probably couldn't find another three) who were regulars on the show wore the same blue cheerleading outfits as seen in the Oh! music video and danced to the song, with modified lyrics about health and motivating people. The girls that they modeled themselves after include Taeyeon, Hyoyeon, Yoona, Yuri, Sooyoung and Jessica although it wasn't a direct translation and they called themselves as Girls' Time Bag to avoid being prosecuted. This isn't the first time that SNSD has been parodied overseas and many Korean fans have slammed these parodies as being insulting and hoping that they would stop. But if you think of it from another perspective, it just goes to show how much popularity the SNSD girls have in other parts of the world now. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KwbDQDfVF3k http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S5AObC6KFbM SNSD's Gee http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UA5j-PBT-sM Wonder Girls Nobody http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MxcxbplC1j4 Super Junior's Sorry, Sorry http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=B_X-cW3fBTc
