This year's JYPE auditions are hotter than ever! The auditions are becoming increasingly difficult with every passing year, as 30,000 people online and offline registered for the event. On January 16th and 17th, 21,000 people from the Busan area and for the first time 600 people from the Jeju area auditioned as well. JYPE, Ivy Club, Seoul Arts School, and photo website Daum all collaborated together for this 6th audition. The 1st audition winner, Jang Wooyoung, is currently an active member of popular idol group 2PM. JYPE happily stated, "Auditions in the two areas of Busan and Jeju are currently finished. We decided to add another day (January 29th) to the already scheduled audition days of January 30th and 31st for the Seoul areas. As much as people showed a great interest for this event, we too will work hard." Chosen individuals through this audition will stand on the "grand final stage" on February 21st. The 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place�winners will receive prize money and will be offered a chance to make a contract deal with JYP as a trainee. The competition sounds tough!
