Oh the wonder! Oh the fantasy! Hollywood club, Ritual, is starting to become the jump off point for Korean pop acts crossing over to the US. Last year it was Se7en and last night it was BoA! It was said to be one of the most crowded nights Ritual has ever seen. Twenty dollar parking and a $40 cover couldn't stop hardcore clubbers from getting inside for a chance to see BoA. Old BoA music videos were on the monitors all night before her arrival and the MC announcing her arrival every ten minutes made the crowd anxious and all a-flurry. She was shuttled from an undisclosed location to Ritual in a Cadillac Escalade (so gangsta). BoA fans were all abuzz as BoA made her entrance. Surrounded by her security and huge entourage, she was quickly escorted into her VIP lounge where they shut the curtains. She then reappeared and made a brief introduction of her songs and vanished again like a unicorn. All in all a great night, with all the free drinks and hookups, I can't complain (I guess slaving away for allkpop has it's benefits). Although a little more BoA wouldn't have hurt.
