I was partying it up all weekend drinking a special concoction my friends and I invented called “Zainichis,” Japanese beer mixed with soju (Asahi beer and Jinro soju), but it sounds like the real party was at Lee Seung Hwan’s charity concert. For those of you that don’t know, Lee Seung Hwan is a Korean rock veteran who has sold approximately 10 million albums in his 20 year career. Every year he does a charity concert, called the “Let’s Live a Good Life” concert, and this year marked the charity event’s 10th anniversary. Seung Hwan managed to assemble some of Korea’s top performers for the event which included Epik High, DJ DOC, Wheesung, and the exquisite Lee Hyori, just to name a few. Hyori doesn’t even know. After I unsheathe my “Mr. Big,” all I would need is “10 minutes” to give her the night of her life. I know what you're thinking. If God and Buddha blessed me with such an opportunity, I would be lucky if I lasted 5 minutes in the sack with Hyori but a guy can dream can't he? Anyway, the concert took place at the Walker Hill Hotel on Saturday night and ended in the wee hours of Sunday morning. Each performer did a short set that lasted between ten to twenty minutes and the money raised from the concert went to the Children’s Leukemia Foundation.
