Lee Chae Yeon unveiled a special music video for “Standing on My Own” and concluded the official promotions for her mini 3rd album ‘SHOWDOWN’ with her appearance on SBS ‘Inkigayo’ on the 14th.
The title track “Don’t” is a 2-step genre dance song that combines the vibrations and ringtones of a mobile phone, offering a familiar yet new auditory stimulus. The song features an addictive melody and lyrics.
Lee Chae Yeon showcased significant growth as a solo artist by participating in the lyric writing and choreography for the title track, as well as contributing to the lyrics and planning of other tracks in the album. This effort earned her not only the title of ‘Performance Queen’ but also ‘All-Rounder Queen.’
The title track “Don’t” highlighted her unique performance skills with high-difficulty moves reminiscent of figure skating spins and a delicate yet powerful performance, proving her prowess as a performance queen.
Additionally, challenges involving artists like Chae Ryeong, Red Velvet’s Seulgi, and Lee Young Ji are gaining popularity.
After concluding her mini album promotions, Lee Chae Yeon plans to continue her activities by appearing on SBS’s ‘Kick a Goal’.
