actually as brand ambassador, you have to be cautious of your actions in public also. you cant be caught with a can or bottle of Coke in ur bag walking to airport or dining and having a Coca-cola or Sprite (under coke brand) on the table..

You should also try to show you are drinking the product or carrying it, off camera.. like maybe in the waiting room of Music shows and someone came in, there should be maybe bottles of Pepsi on the table etc..

its part of the "job" or "contract" you have to be actively be seen by ppl you are promoting it or using the product.

so far Starship seems to be involved in a lot of Pepsi and Pepsi related brands products including Mountain Dew.

i find it coincidence that HYBE has groups promoting both Samsung and Apple.. BTS for Samsung Galaxy, and New Jeans for Apple iPhone.

so BTS cannot accept someone's iPhone to take selfie during Concerts, due to Samsung contract, in that case, maybe New Jeans cannot accept a fan's Android phone or Samsung phone to take selfies during fansign or concert also.
