aespa is officially back with their first comeback single!
On May 17 KST, the SM Entertainment rookie girl group unveiled their new single "Next Level," a hard-hitting remake of Australian pop artist A$ton Wyld's single for the ‘Fast & Furious Presents: Hobbs & Shaw’ original soundtrack.
According to the agency, the lyrics for "Next Level" are meant to tell the story of both the aespa members and their alter egos 'ae,' as well as their journey to KWANGYA to hunt down the 'Black Mamba' who is "disturbing aespa and ae's SYNK, descending the world into chaos." The music video features both aespa and ae, their dynamic performance showing that they are a determined team that no one could ever stop.
Meanwhile, aespa will be celebrating their comeback with fans through 'Next Level of aespa,' a live broadcast that can be accessed through their official VLIVE channel immediately after the song's release at 8 PM KST.
