On the February 26 broadcast of MBC's 'Flushed-Cheek Feast of Hermits', TVXQ's Changmin appeared as a guest - both as a chef and as a guest judge!
Each week on MBC's 'Flushed-Cheek Feast of Hermits', various challengers from across Korea present a special dish to the honorable "hermits" of the show - Seo Jang Hoon, Kim Jong Kook, Sung Si Kyung, and HaHa. The theme for this week's feast was "a gentleman's feast"!
On this day, TVXQ's Changmin garnered attention as the only nonprofessional challenger, in a kitchen full of professionals and business owners. Changmin, who revealed that he is diligently learning how to cook these days, prepared a beef tartare appetizer dish, using a medley of complex ingredients.
When it came time for Changmin to present the dish to the hermits, every single hermit gave the beef tartare dish a gold dagger! Seo Jang Hoon said, "This is something you would eat as the appetizer at the most luxurious 5-star restaurant." Kim Jong Kook added on, "Oh my god! This is crazy good." The most picky eater on the show, Sung Si Kyung, also praised the chef for the elegant harmony of all of the ingredients.
Having received the honor of 4 daggers, TVXQ's Changmin then greeted the hermits, revealing that he was the chef behind the excellent beef tartare dish. While discussing Changmin's cooking experience, Seo Jang Hoon asked, "Do you cook this at home often? Do you make it for that person at home?", referring to Changmin's newlywed wife. Changmin answered with a smile, "[She] loves it." The idol star also revealed that his family including his parents and siblings also enjoyed the dish when he made it for them.
Having accomplished his mission of impressing the "hermits" with his own dish, Changmin then went on to join the panel as a guest judge for this week. Check out some clips of Changmin from this week's 'Flushed-Cheek Feast of Hermits' above and below!
i remember Changmin was taking cooking lessons back when he was on "I Live Alone"
I noticed Changmin was learning cooking and shortly after there was some dating news about him.
While Heechul who was previously known for his "gaming hobbies, watching C-dramas, and loving anime characters", also picked up cooking on Delicious rendezvous, after his dating news came out..lol
Heechul was initally also bad at cooking and cannot even cut well, but now he is good at cutting and makes ramen that even Baek Jong Won can agree to as being nice.. i think maybe Heechul might get married in 2022.. (after TWICE's 7th year contract in 2021)..
