Some netizens have decided to begin a movement to demand that Pledis Entertainment speak up with a formal statement, in response to Seventeen member Mingyu's ongoing school bullying allegations. 

Currently, Mingyu is facing secondary and tertiary accusations of inappropriate behavior during his middle school days. One alleged former classmate accused Mingyu of harassing fellow female students, while another rumor accused the idol of mistreating a fellow student with disabilities, while also standing by and "laughing" as other "friends" harassed the disabled student. 

Thus far, Mingyu's label Pledis Entertainment has yet to issue any press statements in response to the newly raised allegations above. 

As a result, some netizens have decided to demand the following from Pledis Entertainment via the agency's official email address:

"We demand a formal departure procedure for Seventeen's Mingyu, who is currently facing school bullying accusations targeting minorities such as females and disabled persons.

1. We demand that Kim Mingyu apologize in person, and that Pledis Entertainment release an official statement showing its position on this matter.

2. We demand that Kim Mingyu leave the group and halt his entertainment activities.

Finally, School violence is a crime against society which cannot be forgiven under any circumstances."
