ONEUS drops special 'myth of Hwanwoong' version of 'Airplane'

On October 3rd, ONEUS dropped a special version of their song 'Airplane.' In the video, the members are dressed up as characters from the creation myth involving Hwanwoong (a mythological figure): member Hwanwoong is dressed up, of course, as Hwanwoong, while the other members dressed up in tiger and bear costumes. Coincidentally, October 3rd is also the National Foundation Day, which ties in with the myth.

The myth in this dance practice is that a tiger and bear prayed that they would become human. Hwanung, the Korean God, said that if they remained in a cave without sunlight and ate only mugwort and garlic for 100 days, their prayer would be heard. The bear succeeded, turned into a woman and eventually became Hwanung's wife.


Actually I'm pretty sure most of the ONEUS members share names with either Gods or Kings of Korea :)
