The Recording Industry Association of Japan (RIAJ) announced on August 8 that TWS has earned another gold certification.
On August 8, RIAJ announced, "TWS's debut single 'Nice to See You Again,' surpassed 100,000 copies sold as of last month, earning a Gold Disc 'Gold' certification."
The certification is awarded monthly by the RIAJ based on cumulative album shipments. Gold - 100,000 copies; Platinum - 250,000 copies; Double Platinum - 500,000 copies; Triple Platinum - 750,000 copies; and Million - 1,000,000 copies.
This marks the group's third Gold certification, following their first single 'Last Bell' and third mini-album 'TRY WITH US.'
'Nice to See You Again' also swept various album charts in its first week of release, topping Oricon's Weekly Single Ranking, Weekly Combined Single Ranking, and Billboard Japan's Top Single Sales Chart.
The title track of the same name achieved strong results on digital charts as well, hitting No. 1 on Billboard Japan’s Hot 100. It was the second overseas song to top the chart this year, following Rosé's "APT." with Bruno Mars.
Meanwhile, TWS will hold their first world tour '24/7:WITH: US' at K-Arena Yokohama on August 9–10.
