NJZ’s Hanni has publicly called out HYBE and ADOR for allegedly twisting her words in the ongoing legal battle.

Taking to Instagram Stories, she expressed frustration over the situation, writing: "How can you take one part of a conversation and shift the meaning of it to benefit your point of view when I was the one that wrote that message? Whilst you present yourself as a company that wants the best for us. Please stop tormenting me, ADOR and HYBE."
In another post, Hanni stated that she had been holding back from speaking out to avoid escalating the situation further. However, she warned that if more false assumptions were made about NJZ, she wouldn’t stay silent: "I have a lot to say but I’ve been holding back simply because I don’t see the need to escalate this issue any bigger than it already is. But if you think you have the audacity to make even more false assumptions about us than you already have… then I won’t stay quiet."
These statements come after ADOR released video footage and chat logs in an attempt to refute claims about the "Ignore It" controversy, which arose in May 2024. The controversy involved NJZ members allegedly ignoring ILLIT, HYBE’s new girl group. ADOR’s video aimed to prove that ILLIT members had, in fact, greeted NJZ members, and that the issue had been exaggerated by former ADOR CEO Min Hee Jin.
NJZ members attended the latest court hearing at the Seoul Central District Court on March 7, despite not being required to do so. ADOR’s current CEO, Kim Joo Young, was also present. The ongoing conflict raises concerns about NJZ’s future under ADOR as tensions continue to rise.
