While Kim Soo Hyun has announced legal action against a specific YouTube channel over rumors of his relationship with the late Kim Sae Ron, additional text messages reportedly sent by Kim Sae Ron before her passing have now been revealed.

On March 10, Garosero Research Institute (hereafter referred to as GaSeYeon), the YouTube channel that initially exposed the alleged six-year relationship between Kim Soo Hyun and Kim Sae Ron based on claims from the bereaved family, released a new video on the 11th.

The thumbnail of the video contained a screenshot of a text message, allegedly sent by Kim Sae Ron to Kim Soo Hyun, along with a photo of Kim Soo Hyun kissing Kim Sae Ron on the cheek. GaSeYeon stated that the photo was taken when Kim Sae Ron was 16 years old and in her third year of middle school.

The revealed text message allegedly sent by Kim Sae Ron read:

"Oppa, it’s Sae Ron. I received a certified letter—I’m being sued. You said you’d give me plenty of time, so I’ve been diligently preparing for my comeback, planning to repay you little by little from each project. It’s not that I refuse to pay, but I simply can’t come up with 700 million won all at once. It’s not that I won’t, I just can’t. Do I really have to go to court? Please help me. I’m begging you—just give me more time."

GaSeYeon further claimed that the blurred-out phone number in the screenshot belonged to Kim Soo Hyun.

According to reports, the text message was sent on March 19, 2024, just five days before Kim Sae Ron uploaded a photo with Kim Soo Hyun on her SNS. Shortly after the upload, Kim Soo Hyun’s agency, Gold Medalist, immediately denied the dating rumors, which were eventually dismissed as Kim Sae Ron’s self-dating scandal.

Previously, on March 10, GaSeYeon cited a statement from Kim Sae Ron’s bereaved family, claiming:

"The deceased dated Kim Soo Hyun for six years since she was 15. She later transferred to another agency at Kim Soo Hyun’s recommendation but did not receive proper protection from either the agency or Kim Soo Hyun."

In response, Kim Soo Hyun’s agency, Gold Medalist, issued a firm denial, stating:

"These claims are clearly false. These are all false allegations that we absolutely cannot tolerate, and we plan to consider taking the strongest legal action possible against Garosero Research Institute for spreading false information."
