Jiyu, a member of the girl group Kiiikiii, recently shared the story of how she started her journey as a singer.
On the March 26th broadcast of SBS PowerFM’s '2 O’Clock Escape Cultwo Show', the members of Kiiikiii appeared as guests and spent time chatting with the hosts and listeners.

When one listener commented, “I can hear a Gyeongsang dialect,” Jiyu smiled and replied, “That’s because I’m from Busan.”
She continued, “I was cast in Busan when I was in middle school, and I traveled back and forth until I eventually moved to Seoul in high school to start training seriously.” She added, “I didn’t intentionally try to fix my accent. The other members spoke with a Seoul dialect, so I naturally picked it up.”
When a listener referred to her as “the short-haired girl,” Jiyu responded happily, “I’m so thankful for that description.”
