Lara, a member of the girl group KATSEYE, has come out.

On the 24th, Lara opened up about her sexual identity while communicating with fans on Weverse.

Lara further opened up, saying: “I knew I was half fruitcake when I was like 8, so I really was wanting everybody. Honestly, probably before 8. Isn’t ‘half fruitcake’ such a good way to explain it without saying?”
She reflected on her fears during the audition program that formed KATSEYE, adding, “You know in Dream Academy, when it came out I was really really scared, to be honest. I didn’t know if people would accept me and I really thought it might ruin my chances of getting in.”
“And then you all were so so nice about it and gave me so much love and support, and it made me feel so confident in who I am. So I love you for that.”
Born in 2005, Lara debuted with KATSEYE in June of last year. KATSEYE is a six-member, American multinational girl group co-produced by HYBE and Geffen Records.
