Former Laboum member Yulhee has shared her latest update as she transitions into acting.
On February 8, Yulhee posted a behind-the-scenes photo from the short-form drama ‘My Partner Is a Devil’ on Instagram (@yul._.hee), along with the caption, "Coming soon. Please look forward to it." The black-and-white photo drew attention to her noticeably slimmer appearance. The drama follows a woman whose life has fallen apart and who seeks revenge on her ex-fiancé by making a pact with the devil. It is set to premiere on the 'Always' platform this March.
In a recent video on her YouTube channel, Yulhee discussed her acting debut, saying, "Filming and dieting have really drained my energy." She mentioned that her agency's CEO had suggested she lose an additional 2 to 3 kilograms, prompting her to reduce her food intake further.
Regarding her first acting role, Yulhee admitted, "I was very nervous and felt a lot of pressure to play the female lead" but added, "This project has shown me the charm of acting. It’s a great opportunity with multiple genres, so I hope viewers look forward to it."
Meanwhile, Yulhee is currently in a custody dispute with her ex-husband, Choi Min Hwan of FT Island. The couple, who married in May 2018 and have three children together, announced their divorce in December 2023.
