The nomination committee of the '2025 Korean Music Awards' has announced the nominees for all categories on February 6 KST. 

First, in the general categories, the 'Song of the Year' nominees from 2024 included BIBI's "Bang Yang Gang", aespa's "Supernova", Rosé & Bruno Mars's "APT.", "Independent" by Danpyunsun and the Moments Ensemble, and "Why Why Why" by Sumin and Slom. 

The 'Album of the Year' nominees from 2024 were 'Hail To The Music' by Danpyunsun and the Moments Ensemble, 'Miniseries 2' by Sumin and Slom, 'Armageddon' by aespa, 'AAA' by hyukoh and Sunset Rollercoaster, and 'Power Andre 99' by Silica Gel.

The 'Artist of the Year' nominees featured aespa, Danpyunsun and the Moments Ensemble, Silica Gel, Rosé, and Lee Seung Yoon, while 'Rookie of the Year' nominees included Sanmanhan, Joo Hyelyn, Sam San, ILLIT, Meeroo Choi, and TWS. 

In the genre-specific categories, the following received nominations for 'Best K-Pop Song of the Year': Rosé & Bruno Mars's "APT.", ILLIT's "Magnetic", aespa's "Supernova", TWS's "Plot Twist", and tripleS's "Girls Never Die". The nominees for 'Best K-Pop Album of the Year' included '2' by (G)I-DLE, 'RIIZING : Epilogue' by RIIZE, 'Armageddon' by aespa's, 'I Did' by Yves, and 'ASSEMBLE24' by tripleS. 

aespa received the most nominations among all K-Pop acts for this year's 'Korean Music Awards', while Danpyunsun and the Moments Ensemble received the most nominations overall with 6 total. 

Other K-Pop artists who received genre-specific category nominations included G-Dragon's "Power" ('Best Rap & Hip-Hop Song'), IU's "Love Wins All" ('Best Pop Song'), Lee Young Ji's "Small Girl" feat. Doh Kyung Soo ('Best Pop Song'), and more.
