Given that Season 2 aims for even greater expansion, concerns about his dental health were raised once again.
Director Hwang admitted. "My teeth are not in good condition. I need to get them pulled out soon and should visit the dentist as soon as possible." He added, "I think I'll need to extract about two more teeth and get implants. Honestly, I feel sad about it too."
Im Si Wan shared his excitement about joining the highly anticipated season, saying, "As a fan who thoroughly enjoyed Season 1, participating in this project and playing the games felt truly meaningful. I still vividly remember the overwhelming excitement and awe I felt when I first saw the Young Hee doll in person. Watching her head turn gave me chills from a fan's perspective."
Meanwhile, Squid Game Season 2 will delve into the fierce showdown between Seong Gi Hun (played by Lee Jung Jae), who returns to the games seeking revenge, and the Front Man (portrayed by Lee Byung Hun). The season promises to bring new twists and challenges as the real games resume. The series is set to premiere exclusively on Netflix on December 26.
