On November 19th, Junsu’s agency, Palm Tree Island, released a statement via social media, saying, “We take all acts of defamation, including malicious slander, the spread of false information, and personal attacks against our artist, very seriously.”

The agency added, “The dissemination of baseless rumors and defamatory posts constitutes clear criminal behavior. We intend to pursue civil and criminal actions against such acts without any negotiation or leniency.”

They revealed that they have already gathered substantial evidence and are actively taking legal steps, with all materials submitted to their legal representatives. The agency is also collecting additional evidence regarding ongoing malicious posts and false claims.

Furthermore, they stated, “We are investigating all cases of baseless and distorted criticism made by certain netizens and will deal with them through strict legal measures.”
