Jung Woo Sung’s past participation in single mother campaign revisited amid paternity controversy.
Actor Jung Woo Sung’s involvement in a campaign for single mothers six years ago has been revisited amid ongoing controversy surrounding his alleged child out of wedlock.
In November 2018, Jung participated in the 'Letters from Angels' photography exhibition. At the time, he commented, “I felt a lot of pressure. Before and during the photoshoot, I kept wondering, ‘Is this the right campaign for me to be a part of?’ because it’s about addressing a life. It encompasses various social issues and perspectives on life itself, which makes it a significant responsibility.”
Letters from Angels is a campaign advocating for adoption and supporting single mothers. Organized by photographer Cho Sei Hyun and the Korea Social Welfare Society, the initiative ran for 16 years, with over 350 celebrities participating.
In behind-the-scenes footage from the campaign, Jung was seen holding and comforting a baby during the shoot, showcasing his gentle side.
Previously, Jung Woo Sung acknowledged that he has a child with model Moon Ga Bi. On November 24th, his agency, Artist Company, confirmed, “The child Moon Ga Bi revealed on social media is indeed Jung Woo Sung’s biological child. He will take full responsibility as a father.” Reports suggest differing opinions on marriage between Moon, who sought to formalize their relationship, and Jung, who opposed the idea.
