The top-tier group ENHYPEN showed the momentum of becoming a “million seller” on the first day of release with their repackaged album.
According to Hanteo Chart on the 12th, ENHYPEN’s 2nd full-length repackaged album, 'ROMANCE: UNTOLD - daydream -', sold 1,010,245 copies in just one day on its release date, November 11th. The original version of this 2nd album had already recorded over 2.9 million sales by September.
The repackaged album reconfigures the 2nd album, including two new songs such as the title track, 'No Doubt,' in addition to the 10 songs from the previous release. Industry insiders attribute the album's same-day million-seller achievement to the synergy created by combining the well-received “legacy” of the original release with fresh new tracks, which has earned praise as a “masterpiece.”
Though it is generally uncommon to combine sales of the original and repackaged albums, the fact that both versions together have sold nearly 4 million copies highlights ENHYPEN’s 2nd album as a strong contender for “Album of the Year.”
Additionally, the explosive sales of the repackaged album have been accompanied by increased interest in the new title track, 'No Doubt.' It has secured top spots on real-time charts of major domestic music sites like Melon, Bugs, and Genie, and it simultaneously charted in the “Top Songs” category in 32 countries and regions on the global music platform iTunes.
Since their debut, ENHYPEN has produced six million-selling albums. Starting with their first full-length album 'DIMENSION: DILEMMA,' followed by their 3rd, 4th, and 5th mini-albums, and now achieving a career high with this year’s 2nd full album.
