The group BOYNEXTDOOR, who recently made headlines by flaunting iPhones at the airport, has now officially collaborated with Apple.
Apple Music has exclusively launched the ‘Carols Covered 2024’ playlist in partnership with BOYNEXTDOOR, just in time for the Christmas season.
This ‘Carols Covered 2024’ collection offers fresh and unique reinterpretations of beloved Christmas and holiday songs, recorded by specially selected renowned artists worldwide, including BOYNEXTDOOR. The collection is available in immersive spatial audio for listeners around the world.
BOYNEXTDOOR chose to cover the classic Christmas carol ‘It’s Beginning To Look A Lot Like Christmas’ by Michael Bublé. They explained their choice, saying, “We thought this Christmas classic would suit BOYNEXTDOOR the best, so we decided to cover it.” They added, “Hearing this timeless song in our voices brings out a new charm and captures the winter feeling perfectly.” They also shared that recording the song in Apple Music’s spatial audio format “enhances the joyful, exciting spirit of Christmas.”
The entire ‘Carols Covered 2024’ and ‘Classic Carols Covered 2024’ collections, including BOYNEXTDOOR’s ‘It’s Beginning To Look A Lot Like Christmas,’ are available exclusively on Apple Music.
Meanwhile, BOYNEXTDOOR drew mixed reactions last month after wrapping up their collaboration with Samsung Galaxy, when they prominently displayed Apple products during their departure at Incheon Airport on November 11th. The members were seen with the latest iPhone models and AirPods Max, sparking controversy.
