NewJeans showcased their cool and dynamic charm in a fashion photoshoot for Vogue Korea, revealing the digital cover on the magazine's official social media on November 4th.
In collaboration with Nike, NewJeans sported Nike’s latest sneakers, each member expressing their unique style in bold and lively poses that amplified the sporty vibe.
In the interview following the photoshoot, NewJeans shared their thoughts on team dynamics and individual preferences.
Minji spoke about the significance of her members, saying, “They are precious people who have helped me grow tremendously and have been a constant source of strength. They feel like a pillar I can't imagine my life without.”
Hanni, known for her love of retro items like film cameras and LPs, explained, “The charm of film cameras is capturing that exact moment in a photo to look back on later. Choosing an LP to listen to by looking at the album cover is really fun and healing.”
Danielle reflected on the self-composed song she performed at the Tokyo Dome fan meeting, saying, “Sometimes I can convey things better through song than words. I wanted to capture the warmth and excitement I feel for Bunnies (our fandom) in a song. I created it with the hope that every moment we share with Bunnies would be precious and everlasting.”
The group also discussed the mindset they’ve gained from performing on various stages since their debut.
Haerin shared, “I always do my best depending on the stage situation at that moment. Even if unexpected challenges arise, I try to handle them freely.”
Hyein added, “Looking back, there were times I didn’t fully enjoy the moment because of needless worries, and I regretted it. Over time, the excitement has grown bigger than any pressure, and I’ve come to appreciate even that pressure as something fun and rewarding.”
