Han So Hee’s agency issues official statement regarding mother’s arrest for operating illegal gambling dens.

On September 3 KST, Han So Hee’s agency, 9ato Entertainment, released an official statement regarding the arrest of her mother for allegedly operating illegal gambling dens.

The agency stated, “The matters reported yesterday (September 2nd) regarding Han So Hee’s mother are strictly personal actions taken by her mother,” adding, “Han So Hee herself learned of this through the news and is at a loss for words to describe her devastated feelings.”

They emphasized, “We want to reiterate that this incident is entirely unrelated to the actress and was an independent act by her mother,” and apologized, saying, “We are sorry to deliver uncomfortable news related to personal matters rather than the actress’s work.”

On September 2 KST, the prosecution arrested a 50-year-old woman, identified as Shin, who is Han So Hee’s mother, on charges of operating illegal gambling dens. Shin is accused of managing 12 gaming establishments in Ulsan, Wonju, and other locations through proxy managers from 2021 until the end of last month.
