Former NCT member Taeil recently set his Instagram to private following his removal from the group due to a serious criminal investigation.
At the end of last month, SM Entertainment confirmed that Taeil had been implicated in a sexual crime case. After assessing the severity of the situation, the agency announced that Taeil would no longer participate in group activities, leading to his immediate removal from NCT. It has been reported that Taeil is currently cooperating with the police investigation.
Many fans were shocked by this latest news, and some NCT members, including Taeyong, had unfollowed Taeil on social media. As of September 4, Taeil had turned his Instagram private.
Korean netizens responded:
"I have no interest anymore. He's someone we don't know now."
"I wonder why he became a celebrity but this is for the better."
"Just private instead of deleting? Does he have plans to make a comeback in the future?"
"So he hasn't apologized yet right?"
"I think because the police investigation is still ongoing, I think it would be more disadvantageous if he apologizes."
"I think it's more fascinating he left his social media open until now."
"Does he feel unjust?"
"I have no interest."
"I guess he has the mind to look at Instagram now."
"He lost a lot of followers. I unfollowed him too though."
"I don't know why he turned his account private when his followers still can see it."
"I guess he doesn't care about being a celebrity anymore."
"He should just delete the account."
"Is he still on Bubble?"
"Just delete the account."
