CNBLUE stopped their performance to help a fan who fainted.
On September 26, CNBLUE took the stage at Kyunghee University's Seoul campus autumn festival, and during their performance, an audience member had a medical emergency. In videos taken at the scene, Yonghwa can be seen halting the show, saying, "Wait, wait."
As medical staff rushed to help, Yonghwa took charge of the situation, telling the audience, "Please make some room. Please let us know if anyone else is feeling unwell. It can happen suddenly in a crowded place." He also tossed a water bottle into the crowd.
Afterwards, he told the audience, "I will assess the situation. Please maintain some order. I'll check and return." He then went offstage to check on the audience member who was taken by an ambulance before coming back to the stage. Yonghwa later communicated with fans on a fan communication platform, stating, "What mattered more than the shock was the health of the student, so I went to check with the ambulance. Fortunately, I heard they're okay and went home."
Fans praised CNBLUE's handling of the emergency, commenting, "You can really see the experience of a 14-year veteran idol," "They're true professionals," "So cool," and "Incredible."
In other news, CNBLUE are set to release their mini album 'X' on October 14, marking their comeback after 3 years.
