Fans of singer Lim Young Woong have demonstrated positive influence by donating to support medical expenses for children with disabilities.
On August 5th, the Miral Welfare Foundation (Chairman Hong Jeong-gil) announced that it had received a donation of approximately 10 million KRW (about $7,800 USD) from Lim Young-woong's fandom, "I'm Hero Supporters."
"I'm Hero Supporters" donated 10 million KRW to the Miral Welfare Foundation to mark the 8th anniversary of Lim Young-woong's debut as a singer on August 8th.
The donated funds will be used to cover medical expenses for two children with disabilities through the foundation's support programs.
Oh Se-wook, head of the Gyeongin Regional Headquarters at the Miral Welfare Foundation, expressed gratitude, saying, "We deeply appreciate the positive influence shown by 'I'm Hero Supporters' in commemorating Lim Young Woong's 8th anniversary. The donation will be used carefully to assist children with disabilities in need."
A representative of "I'm Hero Supporters" stated, "We will continue to carry on Lim Young Woong's positive influence by consistently engaging in charitable activities. We hope this donation will provide practical help to the children with disabilities."
