Comedian Jang Do Yeon opened up about the emotional toll she experienced due to malicious comments online.
On May 6, a new episode of the YouTube web variety show 'Salon Drip 2,' hosted on the 'TEO' channel, was released, featuring Super Junior member Kyuhyun as a guest.
During the episode, Kyuhyun spoke about 'Radio Star,' the MBC variety show he hosted for six years, saying, “It’s the program that made me who I am as an entertainer. Thanks to it, I learned a lot and gained recognition.”

Jang Do Yeon is currently one of the MCs on Radio Star.
She revealed, “When I first became an MC, I saw so many comments saying, ‘Why did they put her on? Bring Kyuhyun back,’” expressing the hurt she felt from such comparisons.
Kyuhyun sympathized, saying, “I went through the same thing. Even when you’re doing your best, being compared like that is frustrating and upsetting.”

He added, “The past always gets romanticized. Don’t pay attention to those comments. When a new MC takes over, people will start saying, ‘Bring Jang Do Yeon back,’ too,” offering words of encouragement.
In response, Jang Do Yeon joked, “I’m going to keep hosting. If they fire me, I’m taking the chair with me,” bringing laughter to the set.
