TXT's Hueningkai impresses with drum and bass skills in university band

TXT Member Hueningkai masters both drums and bass.

On July 24 KST, according to BigHit Music, Tomorrow X Together (TXT) released the second episode of '[HUENINGKAI Wants to Start a Band] EP.2 - Bohemian ROCK at Hanyang University' on the group's official YouTube channel the previous day.

In the first episode, Hueningkai showcased his impressive drumming skills. In this episode, he visited Hanyang University's only rock music club, 'Bohemian ROCK'. Although initially overwhelmed by the strong presence of the band members who greeted him, Hueningkai displayed his hidden talent during the 'Bass Class' as part of his initiation to become a full member.

Despite learning the slap technique, known as the 'dream of novice bassists,' for the first time, Hueningkai quickly picked it up. The band members, seeing his quick learning ability, were amazed and said, "Why is he so good?" and "He has talent." His free-spirited rock spirit was evident as he prepared for a collaboration of AC/DC's legendary rock song "Highway to Hell".

The episode also captured the campus atmosphere with outdoor dining and games. Wearing a university jumper, Hueningkai showed off his striking visuals, taking commemorative photos at the school's iconic photo spots, evoking the excitement of a real college student.

'HUENINGKAI Wants to Start a Band' is content that follows Hueningkai's journey into the daily life of a university band, fulfilling his dream of joining a band and sharing various episodes along the way.

Meanwhile, Tomorrow X Together is currently on their first Japanese dome tour, 'ACT : PROMISE IN JAPAN'. This tour marks the shortest time for a Korean artist to embark on a tour of Japan's four major domes since their debut. The tour kicked off at Tokyo Dome on July 10 and 11 KST, and will continue at Kyocera Dome Osaka on July 27 and 28 KST, Vantelin Dome Nagoya on August 4 and 5 KST, and PayPay Dome Fukuoka on September 14 and 15 KST.
