ILLIT continues to maintain a strong presence on major Billboard charts in the US, reflecting their ongoing popularity.
According to the latest charts released by Billboard on July 6 KST, ILLIT's debut mini album 'SUPER REAL ME' and its title track "Magnetic" have secured spots on the 'Global (Excl. US)' and 'Global 200' charts at 20th and 30th positions respectively, marking their 14th consecutive week on these charts.
Previously, "Magnetic" debuted at 91 on the Billboard Hot 100. Additionally, the album 'SUPER REAL ME' entered the Billboard 200 at 93, making ILLIT the first K-pop group to have both their debut single and album chart on Billboard's main charts.
"Magnetic" also made a notable impact in the UK, reaching 80 on the Official Singles Top 100, setting a record for the fastest entry for a K-pop debut song. In Japan, "Magnetic" surpassed 100 million streams in its 11th week on the Oricon Weekly Streaming Ranking, achieving the milestone faster than any other female group in the chart's history.
Billboard highlighted these achievements, calling ILLIT’s success "unprecedented for a K-pop debut." They named ILLIT as the 'K-pop Rookie of the Month' for June 2024, noting that the group's continued strong performance on the 'Global 200' and 'Global (Excl. US)' charts demonstrates their growing international appeal.
