There is a debate going on social media over rumors that BLACKPINK’s Jennie might make a cameo in the upcoming Marvel movie 'Deadpool & Wolverine.' Fans are split, with some calling it an obvious hoax and others claiming it's real.

The controversy started with a supposed credits leak where Jennie is listed as “Jennie BLACKPINK” for the role of Korean Deadpool. 

For many, this was an immediate red flag because they used "Jennie BLACKPINK" instead of her acting name, “Jennie Ruby Jane.” Fans claimed, "No way... it’s likely fake." 

However, others are pointing to screenshots of a scene that’s rumored to feature a bunch of Deadpool variants. All of the Deadpool variants are wearing a mask, so spotting a specific actor would be nearly impossible. Could Jennie be one of them?

Things also heated up when a shaky video of the movie credits hit the internet. It wasn’t the best quality, and many fans dismissed it as a fake.

Then, another video surfaced—this one where the credits text are much clearer, showing the credits from a person who claims to have attended the advanced screening of the movie. The post was later deleted.

With no official word yet, fans are left debating whether Jennie is making a Marvel cameo or if it’s all just wishful thinking. The movie could be having some fun by trolling the audience, as the credits being shared online list numerous famous names for the various alleged Deadpool variants. Whether Jennie is actually in it or not, fans will have to wait until the movie hits theaters on July 26 to see the credits for themselves and find out the truth.
