'Waterbomb Jeju 2024' to be held on July 13 with Highlight, BIBI, and Young Ji

The summer's signature festival 'Waterbomb' will take place on the enchanting island of Jeju.

On the 5th, the organizing company Made One announced, 'Waterbomb Jeju 2024 will be held at Jeju Sports Complex on July 13.'

First launched in August 2015, 'Waterbomb' is the largest water-themed music festival in Korea. This is the second time 'Waterbomb' will be held in Jeju, following last year's event which attracted a hot response with around 8,000 attendees, including 1,000 foreigners.

The highlight of 'Waterbomb' is undoubtedly the performances that involve the audience. 'Waterbomb Jeju 2024' will feature top K-pop artists like Highlight, Daniel Jikal, Lee Young Ji, Yeeun, BIG Naughty, BIBI, TRI.BE, and Kik5o, forming a dazzling lineup.

The organizers stated, "'Waterbomb Jeju 2024' is special. As it is the second event, it will feature more spectacular and richer performances. Please look forward to the additional artists to be revealed sequentially. The artists who have already confirmed their participation are also preparing unique performances."

Highlight, with numerous hits such as 'Beautiful Night,' 'Fiction,' 'Plz Don't Be Sad,' 'Beautiful,' and 'Shock,' will showcase their 15 years of experience on the 'Waterbomb' stage.

Lee Young Ji, known for her refreshing stage presence and rapping skills, will blow away the summer heat. Talented artist BIG Naughty, known for his unique music style and trendy individuality, and BIBI, the star of the 'Bam Yang Gang' syndrome, are also expected to light up the 'Waterbomb' stage.

Additionally, the lineup includes Daniel Jikal, the ambitious rookie introduced by PSY, Yeeun, who is active both in EL7Z UP and as a solo artist, TRI.BE, who recently confirmed a European tour, and unique singer-songwriter Kik5o.

Yeeun, formerly of CLC and performing at 'Waterbomb' for the first time, stated, "I have prepared a lot for this 'Waterbomb' stage. I will make the night in Jeju cooler than ever."

BIBI, who gained huge popularity with the 'Bam Yang Gang' syndrome, has been cast in the upcoming SBS drama 'The Fiery Priest 2,' showcasing her versatile talents as both a singer and actress. BIBI said, "I am happy just to be able to join the 'Waterbomb' stage in Jeju. I will prepare a unique performance."
