BLACKPINK's Rosé has signed a management contract with The Black Label, led by producer Teddy.
On June 18 KST, The Black Label officially announced, "We have signed a management contract with artist Rosé. Producer Teddy and artist Rosé, who have worked closely together for a long time, have recently formalized their partnership with The Black Label based on deep mutual trust."
They further stated, "Rosé is currently preparing to meet her global fans with new music and is set to engage in musical activities worldwide in collaboration with global record labels. We look forward to the exceptional synergy between Rosé, who possesses a unique musical color, and The Black Label, which supports the free activities of its artists."
The statement continued, "We promise to support Rosé in her various endeavors to ensure her success in multiple fields."
The Black Label, founded in 2016 by producer Teddy from 1TYM, is home to artists such as Big Bang's Taeyang, former IOI member Jeon So Mi, singer Zion.T, and actor Park Bo Gum.
Teddy has a long-standing relationship with Rosé, having produced several of BLACKPINK's hit songs, including "Whistle" and "Boombayah."
Meanwhile, at the end of last year, BLACKPINK renewed their group activity contract with their original agency, YG Entertainment. At that time, BLACKPINK announced that for their individual activities, they would follow separate paths from YG, adopting a "together but separate" strategy. Subsequently, Jennie, Lisa, and Jisoo each established their own independent labels for their solo activities.
