BLACKPINK Jennie donates 100 million won to charity project for teenagers in need

AKP STAFF

BLACKPINK member Jennie recently donated 100 million won (about $74,000 USD) to Habitat for Humanity Korea, which is an international housing welfare non-profit organization.

The donation was specifically made for the purpose of benefiting Korean teenagers who have recently moved back to Korea and need somewhere to live and attend school. The donation will fund the construction of a school, Rodemnamu International Alternative School, for these teenagers in need. The school will provide a place for students to both live and study safely.

Jennie made the donation on behalf of BLACKPINK’s fandom, BLINKs.

Habitat for Humanity Korea thanked Jenny for helping to build a school that will allow

disadvantaged children to achieve their dreams, and said that they will work to begin construction of the school as soon as possible.
