On May 26, rising new K-Pop groups X:IN, Queenz Eye, and DIGNITY along with trot singers Jang Hye Ri (formerly of Girl's Day and bebop), and Yu Soo Hyun of MINIMANI graced the 'SBTown Music Fiesta' stage with dynamic performances.
The acts performed their music releases as well as covers: X:IN with "NO DOUBT"; Queenz Eye with "UN-NORMAL"; DIGNITY with their upcoming title track "Boyfriend"; Jang Hye Ri with her bass guitar performance and vocal cover of "I Love It" by Icona Pop; and Yu Soo Hyun's performance of her first digital single "CHUK & CHAK."
Hosted by actor and model Sang Hyun Lee, popularly known as Danny Lee, the festival is also held to commemorate the 75th anniversary of South Korea and the Philippines’ friendship through shared culture and most notably, music.
As part of the celebration of this special event — SBTown Music Fiesta, Manila Koreatown Association (MAKOTA), and Worldwide Link presented and provided scholarships to the students from PEFTOK (Philippine Expeditionary Force To Korea) Veterans Association to celebrate the 75 years friendship of South Korea and the Philippines.
The lineup also featured P-Pop acts including YGIG, Zéla, Darlene, BILIB, and PLUUS.
