As part of JYP Entertainment’s charity program “Every Dream Matters”, the company recently donated 500 million won (about $363,000) to Yonsei University Medical Center. The donation is specifically to help children and adults under the age of 25.
JYP Entertainment started the corporate social responsibility program “Every Dream Matters” (EDM) as a way to give back to the community. The company stated, “This year, we will fulfill our social responsibilities and spread warmth to all corners of our society. We plan to continue to expand various social contribution activities."
So far this year, JYP has donated a total of 2.8 billion won (about $2 million) to hospitals and medical centers, including Yonsei Medical Center, Samsung Seoul Hospital, Asan Medical Center, National Cancer Center, and World Vision.
JYP Entertainment stated, “We hope that this will become a way of support and help to children who are struggling financially. We hope that they will have the opportunity to recover their health and achieve their dreams."
