Giant panda Fu Bao, born in South Korea, left Everland on April 3 amidst a tearful farewell from fans and caretakers.

Fu Bao's caretaker, known as "Kang Bao" or "Grandpa Kang" Kang Cheol Won, decided to accompany Fu Bao on her journey to China. He was one of Fu Bao's main caretakers and received much love for their adorable relationship.

On the day Fu Bao left Everland, he promised to stay by Fu Bao's side until she reached her new home and expressed his belief in Fu Bao's ability to thrive anywhere.

On April 4, Fu Bao safely arrived in China, and Kang Cheol Won also arrived at the airport. Upon his arrival, Fu Bao fans in China greeted him and presented him with special gifts.

They presented him with a special banner expressing their gratitude with the message, "We give you love for sending Fu Bao home."

Korean netizens were moved by fans' warm gesture and commented, "These fans are so kind," "Their gesture was so warm," "I'm so thankful that Fu Bao fans welcomed Grandpa Kang," "They raised Fu Bao with love so I hope they can take care of her well," "I'm so glad they were at the airport to welcome him," and "This is so heartwarming."
