'Squid Game' actor Oh Young Soo has been sentenced to probation for indecent assault.

On March 15, the Seongnam Branch of the Suwon District Court sentenced Oh Young Soo to 8 months in prison with probation of 2 years, which means he won't serve time in prison unless he commits a similar crime within 2 years. He was also ordered to undergo 40 hours of a sexual violence prevention program.

When reporters asked if he plans to appeal the verdict, Oh Young Soo simply responded, "Yes." 

As previously reported, the actor was indicted on the charges of indecent assault in 2022 for inappropriately touching an unnamed woman in 2017. Oh Young Soo is continuing to deny the allegations, stating he just held her hand to guide the way around a lake. It's further been reported he forcibly hugged her in August 2017 while hiking and kissed her on the cheek in September of 2017.
