More K-pop artists have received recognition from the IFPI, The International Federation of the Phonographic Industry.
On February 27, the IFPI named Seventeen's 'FML' the biggest-selling album worldwide in 2023 and awarded it Global Album of the Year.
The International Federation of the Phonographic Industry (IFPI), the global organization representing the recording industry, recognized 'FML' as the most popular album last year and ranked the album first place in their annual report for 2023.
Not only that, Seventeen's 'Seventeenth Heaven' also made the list at number 8. Other notable K-pop acts that made the list include Stray Kids and NCT Dream. Stray Kids came in at rank 2 with their album '5-Star' and rank 9 with 'Rock-Star,' respectively. NCT Dream ranked in 6th place with their album 'ISTJ.'
Other artists who made the list include Morgan Wallen with 'One Thing At a Time,' Taylor Swift with 'Midnights' and '1989 (Taylor's Version),' SZA with 'SOS,' and Travis Scott with 'Utopia.'
