It was previously reported that a former member of a vocal group was facing fraud charges. It has now been revealed that the person in question is Han Seung Hee, known for his affiliation with the group Monday Kiz. The singer faces allegations of borrowing nearly 100 million won from an acquaintance and subsequently failing to repay the debt, leading to her handover to the prosecution.
According to police reports on February 19 KST, the Ansan Sangnok Police Station in Gyeonggi Province conducted an investigation into Han Seung Hee on charges of fraud. Subsequently, he was transferred to the Ansan Branch of the Suwon District Prosecutors' Office with a recommendation for indictment.
The accusations against Han Seung Hee revolve around his purported solicitation of funds from 'Person A', a fitness trainer at a gym he frequented in 2022. Allegedly, he borrowed 96 million won under the guise of investment capital required for establishing a company but failed to fulfill the repayment obligations.
Person A initiated legal action by filing a complaint with the police in November of the previous year after Han Seung Hee defaulted on the repayment and ceased communication with them.
Han Seung Hee began his musical journey with Monday Kiz' in 2010. Following his departure from the group in 2014, he pursued a solo career.
